No, God has not His ancient folk rejected!
For Abram's seed includes Apostle Paul.
And though God's people often have defected --
Elijah stood for God, when they did fall.
And David too walked upright with Jehovah,
though even he had lapses into sin.
Yet Isr'el's glory still was far from over.
For all the World's predestined yet to come on in!

When Jesus came, as Isr'el's King predicted --
God showed His people their most ancient Root.
But their own leaders held Him as afflicted --
because themselves devoid of all good fruit.
Like barren branches, God then dumped those leaders.
They lacked the faith to trust Him Whom they'd heard.
But God continued blessing all true readers
of His predictions in His holy blessed Word!

The rabbis treated Him as a pariah.
So God sought Gentiles, who did them replace.
They gladly took the Lord as their Messiah --
embraced King Jesus, only by God's grace!
The Gentile Christians thus obtained salvation,
ingrafted into Isr'el's family-tree.
So God's elect from every land and nation
turn from their sins, and get their precious Liberty!

But Gentile Christians need to be so humble --
and stand by faith in Christ, alone, always!
Or, like the Jews, those Gentiles too will stumble
and lose their joy, and enter dismal days.
But God would keep them in His Church victorious --
and bring back Isr'el to its olive-tree.
For then, just think -- that time will be so glorious
when Jew and Gentile meet at awesome Calvary!

For God so loved the World, I find it written
that when the Gentiles' fullness has come in,
the Hebrews too will come to Him they've smitten --
see Jesus Christ, as Saviour from their sin!
Oh glorious day, when from Christ's Church as Zion
the Lord goes forth to deal with Jacob's sin
and then extends to them His rod of iron --
and to His World-wide Church, does bring them safely in!

Though all have sinned and have their God insulted --
men everywhere shall yet become most free.
Because the Triune Elohim consulted
and so decreed, from all eternity.
Praise God the Father, Son and Spirit solely!
Let's take His Word, which is His mighty sword!
From, through, and to the Lord -- all things are holy.
So praise His Name! Yes, let us praise the faithful Lord!

Note by Dr. Lee, 23rd April 2000:

Today, Easter Sunday, God woke me up at 4:15 a.m. So I then composed the following, with the hope that Becky Morecraft might like to sing it and perhaps even include it on her next CD or audiotape!
